What's Going On
On
May 7th, 2025, schools in Punjab and Islamabad were told to close in Pakistan.
Because Pakistan had been attacked by India.
On
April 22nd, 2025, the
2025 Pahalgam attack took place.
"The 2025 Pahalgam attack was an attack on non-Muslim tourists by five armed militants near Pahalgam in the Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir in which 26 civilians were killed." (according to Wikipedia)
On
May 7th, 2025,
India launched
Operation Sindoor in response, believing that
Pakistan had had a part in the 2025 Pahalgam attack.
According to
Al Jazeera, "The Indian military launched
multiple missile attacks targeting sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir early on Wednesday in an attack it called
Operation Sindoor. The Pakistani military claims to have retaliated, shooting down multiple Indian military planes.
At least
31 Pakistanis have been killed in the six targeted cities, according to Lieutenant Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, the director general of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) media wing of Pakistan’s military. India says it struck nine sites."
And now, the two countries:
Are. At. War.For more information regarding the conflict, as well as live updates, visit sites such as https://www.aljazeera.com/.
The Countries and Their Issues
There was
no evidence.
India had absolutely
no evidence that Pakistan had had a part in the 2
025 Pahalgam attack, according to global outlets.
And it launched
Operation Sindoor.
Regarding this, India claimed:
“Our actions have been focused, measured and non-escalatory in nature. No Pakistani military facilities have been targeted. India has demonstrated considerable restraint in selection of targets and method of execution,” Oh, so targeting innocent civilians is suddenly more honorable now?
Targeting people who don't even have the resources to defend themselves?
I would rather you'd attacked the military.
At least they had some form of defense.
What India did was absolutely
pathetic.
They claim that there were 'terrorists' in the areas where they attacked.
How the hell is a child supposed to be a terrorist?
That child had an entire
life ahead of him.
All the people killed had an entire life ahead of them.
Ones
you stole.
With absolutely no solid justification.
Even
if Pakistan was responsible for the 2025 Pahalgam attack, who the hell gave you the right to take the lives of people who weren't even involved? Who the hell gave you the right to be as bad as the terrorists who attacked you, and take it out on people who didn't even deserve it?
Furthermore, Pakistan's PM,
Shehbaz Sharif, should've responded to India's earlier threats with more assertiveness/firmness to deter them. Diplomacy is essential, but drawing the line without getting violent is of equal importance. However,
the worst part, other than India's provocative attacks, is that Pakistan has decided to retaliate. Now, many people probably have different opinions on this, but my opinion is this:
Pakistan should be the bigger person (well, nation, actually) and ask for a peaceful meeting to negotiate and come to some terms of agreement.
Instead of using
diplomacy, Pakistan has chosen
retaliation and
revenge, the same way its Indian neighbors unjustly have done against it (though they had no proof that the Pakistanis deserved that retaliation and revenge), and decided to launch attacks against the Indians, who responded in equal measure, as was expected.
The Glaring Problem
People are dying.
People are getting hurt.
People are terrified.
And all these politicians care about are their egos and power.
No, war is not to protect the people, or for dignity.
War is and will always be a lose-lose situation.
There is no dignity in the loss of lives, no dignity in the failure of settling a conflict without violence.
In a nutshell, Pakistan and India are acting like two siblings who don't know how to settle a conflict without getting physical.
How is that dignifying?
War will not benefit you in this life, and it will not benefit you in the next, either.
Is Pakistan Facing Karma?
But you know what's so incredible?
The fact that SOME Pakistanis just found it completely impossible to boycott certain products to prevent funding Israel (directly and indirectly), and now Israel's missiles are the ones being fired at Pakistan. Some Pakistanis forgot about the Palestinians and their struggles.
Funding the ones committing the genocide against them in the Middle East.
And now, the very entity that had been committing that genocide, the very entity those Pakistanis had been indirectly/directly funding, is the same entity supplying India with missiles (maybe more weapons) against them.
Karma. Is. Quick. This is not a celebration of suffering, rather, the consequences of not working to end it in other areas.
A Plea for Peace
A Pakistani official stated earlier today that, "Revenge is a dish best served cold."
Revenge is sweet too.
Hence, revenge is ice cream.
GO GET FREAKING ICE CREAM TOGETHER-
For the love of God, if revenge is ice cream, get some cones and:
TALK. IT. OUT. But please, for once, think about your people. Because there will be no one left to vote for you guys in the next elections, no one to rule over, if you're going to get all of your people killed (since power is all you seem to care about).
Final Thoughts
This is the first political post I'm publishing on my blog. And for good reason.
I'm tired of being quiet.
I'm tired of worrying about what people will think.
I'm tired of worrying about what will happen to my career just because I advocated for what was right.
And honestly?
I'm not scared.
I'm just
peeved.
At the utter stupidity, illogicalness, and unempathetic nature of all this nonsense.
Let us all
pray.Let us all
hope.Let us all
manifest.That this
conflict dies down.
That these two nations
come to their senses.
That these two nations
come to a peaceful agreement.
That there is
no more human loss.
That there is
no more destruction.
And though it may be a bit of a stretch, I do hope Pakistan and India can collaborate to improve each other's countries' states in the future, because Lord knows they would make one hell of a team if they put their differences aside.
P.S: Go check out my blog post on "Is there Ever a Justification for War?" for more anti-war content.

nice good blog, just asking weren't the Israel missiles the S-400's , and S-400 batteries were vaporized by Pakistan's Fatah missiles soo can you please tell how does it link with Israel firing missiles at Pakistan
